My great idol and inspiration when it comes to cooking is my grandmother. She lived with us during my upbringing. When I came home from school, there was always something good waiting in the kitchen. She did everything with joy and love, usually singing and dancing in the kitchen as she cooked. She personified wisdom, hospitality and security. She was my Babusia.

Our restaurant is a tribute to her and to all our amazing grandmothers – our everyday heroes!
